Hi Luc (et al),
Thank you for your kind reply. That is an exciting example and one I
will definitely use in an upcoming project! (ty again!)
I fear I wasn't explaining my current issue well enough, however.
My original markup looked like this:
====================================
<div class="prodbox2">
<a
href="http://www.cprtools.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3&products_id=21">
<img class="left"
src="/localfeed/images/2plattercomb.narrow.68x100.gif" width="68" height="100"
alt="CPR Tools PC01 Head Comb " />
<p class="left">
Model PC01
</p>
<p>
Designed for dual platter drives with 0.050" thick
platters and a 0.220" thick spacer
</p>
</a>
</div><!-- prodbox -->
====================================
which will not validate as XHTML. It does, however, give the associated :hover
effect on the related text (both <p> elements) when the graphic or either <p>
elements is hovered over. That's the desired effect.
I've replaced that with the following to pass XHTML validation. My question
should have been, in retrospect, is there a way to accomplish this and still be
validatable?
Thanks again and best regards,
~Ray
