It does help make some things consistent on that page between the two.  And 
gives me some hope.  Things are still fubar though.  What looks to me like 
the same basic structure behaves very differently on different pages.  I 
can't remember ever being this frustrated.

Thank you very much for your help.  I really appreciate your response and 
hope by working with what you've given me I can make some sense of the other 
stuff.
