Thanks, I took the easy way out (and it actually made some
sense) and set a fixed width ... and I was able to understand
why IE didn't center stuff (well, at least I understand how to
work around it ;-)
All of you who work with these "anomalies" all days have my
respect (standards are so nice ...)
