Shortly after posting my problem I discovered that the misalignment
occurs where my left menu ends and my faux column continues. So
everything after that point is shifted left a couple of pixels.
I shall investigate further.

Hello.

Has anyone experienced a problem with misaligned bullets in IE6?
I have a liquid layout and on some pages the odd bullet is jutting out
to the left by about half a character.
I'm sorry I can't provide a link because my site is on an intranet,
but
I just wondered if anyone has heard of this.
It's driving me crazy!!

Thanks.
Kerry
