David, Thanks for checking. Yes I found a few problems. One was that I wasn't accessing csshover.htc correctly. Fixing that made a major difference. Additionally I needed to add "z-index" appropriately so that the menus didn't suddenly disappear.
I really appreciate your mentioning the menu wrap problem. I'll check that out. high definition screen at 120PPI - sweet!
