Greetings:

We have a layout that we're struggling to get working correctly in IE, which
works fine in Firefox - we've tried several methods to get the main,
horizontal navigation (the black bar) to work the same way in these
browsers. The layout in question:

http://hiller.flyingiranch.com/working.html

The problematic element is the background color change on hover - we need it
to completely fill (vertically) the black bar.

Note that we have not yet reached the point of platform-compatibility
testing; so far we are centered on Windows. FYI, while there is a table
present in that navigation bar currently, we previously had used a list with
inline display, but to get the background color hover to completely go to th
vertical edges of the black bar, we had ugly font size and padding hacks
that did break on IE + Safari on the Mac.

Any advice appreciated - thanks in advance.

Bryan
