I will explain shortly what kind of problems I encounter. Hopefully somebody can help me further or give a recommendation how I can solve this. Im developing รก site for the International school The Hague (ISH). In top of the page there's a menu with 8 items which are divided in two rows (the names of the items are not correct but at this moment the functionality is first priority).
The first problem I experienced is when the menu is folding out on two rows. The menus are confilcting with each other! For a example if you go to the item parents and folds out it will mix-up with the menu of admissions. You can see my example here: http://www.studio-pit.nl/ish/menu/topmenu/dubbelmenu.html I tried, z-index but that did not work. I tried another solution. I built a Javascript that wil do the following. If you click on a item on the top row, two items on the bottom row will disapear. You can see my example here http://joel.sitemasters.be/?pagina=inc/menu_left I faced another problem, this solution works good in IE and firefox but not in safari. The ISH uses macs, so this is a requirement to work on this platform. I'm looking for a useful solution that works on all platforms. I hope that somebody can help me out Rick van Dalen ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
