This method is known not to work with MacIE, and I'm not sure if it can 
be made to work with MacIE. Now that I have a Mac, I may try to find a 
solution for that browser, but I'm not confident I'll succeed. You may 
be better off switching to another layout method if you must support 
MacIE fully.
