Resolved - I figured out the problem last night - not CSS or browser differences but the browser config. I looked at the settings of both, the win version had the default font size set to 14 - and 16 for the linux version. I don't remember changing the setting, but that was it. They are both happy now at 14. User lesson learned. Thank you all for the tips. -Bob
