Totally rains on my parade... but thanks for the W3C Spec! I think the W3C is wrong on this one though. I'd say at least 10^2^2 terabytes of code is being used to style the asterisks for required fields on forms around the world. I think changing this would vastly improve bandwith on the internet as a whole. :P
