Now I can go on making a new testpage with all your input, with the more pleasing title "How to understand opacity in FF". I remarked also some browser-differences in layering <div>'s on top of each other without opacity: sometimes the last one covering the whole first div, sometimes only the background (or padding or something) and not an image in the div. - Perhaps the same reason. New experiments will follow, as I'm learning here in public ... just find some time! :-) Thanks again, francky ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d IE7b2 testing hub -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/?page=IE7 List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
