Helma -- I hope to help with why you haven't reached "satisfaction" yet. Site does NOT look the same on Firefox as it does on IE -- I think what I'm seeing on IE is your intention. Firefox does not show the images. I think you are getting bit by the relative addressing in your css (../../resources) Overall presentation nice but the banner says "FrontPage" ... It just looks like a banner that was created with FrontPage or WordArt. It's too far separated form the Logo. If it came BEHIND the logo, it might not say the same thing. Also the floral background is fuzzy and looks like it was "stretched" into position. The white letters against the background get lost in the background as well. There's way too much space between your Origami horses and then the first block of content. Try to position the leftnav words to be in the exact same place as they are on hover. That will eliminate the "nervous jump" when you mouse over the nav. The site was developed for someone with a browser of 1024 width -- and the shipping width on browsers is still 800. If this site, and I suspect it is, is for Joe User who would want to come to an origami convention, take a look at how THEY will see your page in 800x600. Too much space between your "header" in the block and the text. To be clear .. Take the block with header "Error in workshop description Mennorode". The text (beginning: "Note: A small error crept in ...") -- there's too much space between the header and text. Also too much space between your middle column and the right column. Probably the same from the left and middle but for whatever reason, it grabs you more between 2nd and 3rd. Now having said all the above, for a first website! Outstanding. The above is more like nit-picking. But it takes courage to ask -- why am I not satisfied. Best of luck and may your convention be well-attended!
