No, I don't want to create scalable tabs -- heresy I know, but tabs that wrap just look horrible, IMO. I will happily let any other type of nav bar wrap, but not tabs. I just want to use regular old images. Unless someone can make a really good case for how to let this particular nav bar wrap gracefully (it's not a very CSS-friendly design, I know). By the way, Thierry, I like your image replacement technique, and I made a page with it before I realized that I couldn't use it due to the transparent parts of my images letting text peek through.
