I am working on a site that validates html and css fine. It works fine in opera, Netscape, Firefox, IE6, however the rub is with IE5. When the page loads it holds together for a fraction of a second, then everything, except the background images drops halfway down the viewing screen. When I scroll down to the errant divs, there now appears a gap between the headers and the nav bar.

Although all of the pages do not display properly, the following page has been pretty thoroughly commented out:

I have 2 css files, the first controls the top nav only:

This stylesheet controls all of the page properties:

Anybody have any ideas as to what's up with IE5 ? I can usually work around IE5, but this time I'm at a loss. I'm probably overlooking something simple.....

Rick
