Hi,

A client has reported that when they're using IE 5.x on Mac OS X they can't select specific text (making a one- or two-word selection results in the rest of the DIV being selected, from the selected words to the bottom of the DIV). No other browsers exhibit this behaviour (Mac or Win). I see the same behaviour, but I've never heard of this problem. Selecting text isn't something we normally do as part of our browser-compatibility testing... My assumption is that this is a bug in IE 5.x/Mac; I'm wondering if there's a known work-around for this issue?

The site in question is http://www.coursesforteachers.ca/

I'm not sure if it will solve the problem, but you may wan to take a look at W3C's validation suggestions for the page in question:

Your HTML does not validate, so there may be something there that is causing a problem, but I doubt it? Double clicking text will allow selection of a single word, but that's all I could accomplish.
