Off the top of my head, I am wondering about the size of that image. If the
height of 26,250px is causing issues. FWIW, I did not see the issue as
described using FF and Chrome on my Mac.

I realize this site has been running for a while now, but there are (at
least) a couple ways to do that color scheme without the image.
