The only "problem" that this approach appears intended to "solve"
is that of income acquisition limitations. The whole prohibition with
respect to VPN is to coerce @home customers to buy @work accounts which
run (if reports are to be believed) around *ten times* the cost for the
consumer.
In short, Comcast is saying, "No security for you! Not unless you
pay out the nose for it, Buster."
