The inherent risks of radio keyboards
All radio radiation risks being intercepted and, with appropriate
processing, revealing the sense of the signal it carries. SCSSI

systems where a micro-computer and its keyboard communicate by
radio.
It has been observed that any metallic conductors found near the

Ethernet cable, telephone cable) can carry and propagate the
signal to a greater effective distance than that of the direct
emission from the keyboard. Redisplayed on a "spy" microcomputer,
everything typed on the radio keyboard then appears in the clear,
even passwords whose characters are masked on the original screen.
