Can anyone provide any input on how Crowbar should or can handle stateful services failures like Horizon or Openstack database.
Lets say for instance the node that I have allocated the mysql barclamp and nova dashboard barclamp dies, what are folks doing at this time ensure recoverability ? Openstack.org suggest using Pacemaker with Corosync for Active/Passive recovery , which would be fine but integrating Pacemaker into Crowbar would pretty much defeat the purpose of the ease of use of Crowbar . I understand that my guest will continue functioning properly but if I rebuild the node and reassign the barclamps the previous database and tracked guest will be lost correct ? --Thoughts ?? -- Do not allow yourselves to be deceived: Great Minds are Skeptical.
