Hi all,

I'm adding support for using SSL for the Quantum API. Unfortunately, the
code for this is not in Grizzly but got pushed in Havana, and so I
wonder how we can support that in Pebbles. I know that for SUSE, we
simply add the relevant patches to our OpenStack packages, but that will
likely not be good enough for non-SUSE.

One option I could think of is to not expose the options in the UI by
default, and require some setting to expose them.

The two relevant patches are:

https://github.com/openstack/quantum/commit/a4faa98b99c9ab50e8fdb299cc3f404d8144b3a9

https://github.com/openstack/horizon/commit/66b0f369a7454cf5bd84ede9deba3a80f81c9bc0
They apply without a problem on Grizzly.

As SSL support is pretty important, I believe this is something that we'd
really want.

Any opinion?

Vincent
