The master branch is WIP, especially around the install pieces, so YMMV
daily... hop on IRC for the active discussion happing there now about these
things.
Or, if you'd rather get a more stable build to hack on, switch to release/fred
(aka crowber 1.5)

I decided to try instructions found
https://github.com/dellcloudedge/crowbar/wiki/Dev-tool-build , I was able to
produce an iso and install it but now have a new problem, installing the iso
using virtualbox .

the following packages have unmet dependencies:
crowbar-barclamp-chef : Depends: chef but it is not installable
Depends: chef-server but it is not
installable

I noticed the versions of chef appears correct but the version of chef-client
appears off

Subject: [Crowbar] install iso

I have been trying to create the initial install iso, I first used
build_crowbar.sh and waited for all the downloads to finish , then found that I
could not mount the iso, with the trailing error logs. Is there anyway I can
skip the downloading of all the files once they are downloaded the first time
to trouble shoot my iso creation , or do I just have to wait 20 - 30 minutes
every time I try to figure out how to get the iso to mount ?

commands run that return the failed iso message at the bottom.

1. ./build_crowbar.sh ubuntu-12.04 --update-cache
2. sudo ./build_crowbar.sh ubuntu-12.04 --update-cache
>>>>> --update-cache ignores what was already downloaded..... so just remove
>>>>> update-cache.

3. sudo ./build_crowbar.sh ubuntu-12.04 --no-cache-update --do-not-clean
