This James is the son of James 1795, and Mary Devine, second wife of James 1795. The article was published in Pentanguishene newspaper in Sept3-6th 1939. Thank you to the people who gave research advice. I have lots of work to do to find James Military regiment. There is at least 6 descendants, of James 1795 who have been trying to find his regiment. He is listed as a pensioner and medalist, in A C Osborne History of Drummond Island people moved to Pentanguishene in 1828, including the 68th Durham Light infantry, when the Americans took posseion of the island.
