There’s been some discussion on the board about how to see the full information in tithe applotment records for Tyrone. PRONI have the records on microfilm which at present can only be accessed by going there in person. However they have also recently loaded the images on to their public computer network. So if you go into PRONI in person at the moment you can view them on the terminals there. (Search under FIN/5 series).
My understanding is that PRONI are about to put their whole collection of tithes (ie all counties of Northern Ireland) onto their main public website, so that anyone will be able to access them. The information you will be able to see will be identical to the images on the nli site for the rest of Ireland. http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/home.jsp Elwyn _______________________________________________ CoTyroneList Mailing List Mailing List Email Address: [email protected] Change Your Preferences: http://cotyroneireland.com/mailman/listinfo/cotyronelist_cotyroneireland.com Mailing List Archive: https://goo.gl/mQCKrY
