Armagh registry miscellaneous (T552) Page 135 Robert & George Bell tenents (sic) to the 8 townlands of Carland in the Barony of Dungannon & Co of Tyrone --- about 1641 their ancestors farmed the said townlands from the Earl of Anglesy -- that about the year 1693 the said George & Robert received their lease ---- 19 years.
Note: I take the Earl of Anglesy to be Arthur Annesley, 1st Earl of Anglesey who was granted vast estates in Ireland under the Acts of Settlement.
