We would like to invite participation in the second edition of Formality

organized at IWSLT 2023 <https://iwslt.org/2023/>. This special task
invites participants to advance research on controlling formality in
machine translation for a diverse set of languages, focusing on zero-shot
transfer across languages.

We have released a formality-annotated training dataset here:
https://github.com/amazon-research/contrastive-controlled-mt. Allowable
generic training data is listed on the task website

made on a dedicated GitHub repository. More information will be added here
<https://iwslt.org/2023/formality#submission> at a later date.


More resources: We will be releasing a trained multilingual classifier for
both evaluation and analysis purposes.
