On Cygwin 2.9.0 / x86_64:

- The cat/splice test hangs. "ps aux" shows a 'paste' process.
- The misc/yes test hangs. "ps aux" shows a 'paste' process.

The test-suite.log has 8 ERROR and 26 FAIL.
