As Chet said, that is not what I meant. The "don't count" was in
relation to measuring the time between new versions, as TCs aren't
allowed to add or delete features (which actuslly removing %b from
printf(1) would be) only a whole new version can do that.
It is however possible that I misremembered the dates, and that it
was the 6th version which was 2008, with the 7th being 2013, or
something (the one currently nearing completion is #8). Regardless,
it is clear that #9, which is the first possibility for removing
%b, assuming that #8 continues to say it might happen (which I
suspect it won't, but we'll see) is many years into the future yet.
