Just FYI, 9 years ago I taught toybox md5sum/sha1sum to use -b as "brief", and the same option has been in our sha3sum and so on ever since: https://github.com/landley/toybox/commit/2682551a4b19 Did cut -DF ever wind up in a release? Rob
