Dear coreboot folks,

I just wanted to quickly write, on how great this community is. In my bubble, I want to especially thank Patrick Rudolf for still improving “old” systems like Lenovo X220 (What is the boot time without memory training now?) and analyzing bug reports and proposing fixes. Also big thanks to Matt DeVillier to reviewing and submitting a lot of patches.

Also great work on the latest SOC addition for MediaTek (Yu-Ping Wu, Yidi Lin, Chen-Tsung Hsieh, Payne Lin, Jarried Lin, …) and Qualcomm (Subrata Banik, Kapil Porwal, Swathi Tamilselvan, Venkateshwar S, …) and their.

Also Jérémy Compostella from Intel is doing great reviews and contributions, and I am looking forward to the AMD changes (openSIL).

I cannot list everyone (Angel, Sean, Walter, Alicja, Julius, Martin, Felix, Werner) and I am sorry, if somebody, deserving it, wasn’t mentioned. Thank you for organizing the meeting, keeping the infrastructure running and updated and so on.

Lastly big thanks to Google, 9elements, 3mdeb, Intel, Star Labs, Qualcomm, MediaTek, AMD, Siemens, Cirrus and the ODMs (Huaqin) for contributing and working upstream.

I am feeling honored to be part of this community.

I wish you a great weekend!

Kind regards,

Paul

PS: One last wish, I would love to see a more active mailing list with for example accomplishments shared – like new SOC reaches payload phase. Personally, I am also interested in the embedded controller, payloads and Chromium OS, Star Labs, Purism, Dasharo, … developments. Should too many messages be sent, one can always think about how to organize it better, but right now, I do not see that risk.
