Hi all, Long time fan, first time poster. I'm trying to develop coreboot for my Lenovo Yoga 730-15IKB and possibly my 710-14iKB. My 730 specs are:
- CPU: i7-8550U (Kaby Lake Refresh, 8th gen) - Chipset: Intel 300 Series chipset - Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 620 - RAM: 8GB - Storage: 256GB PCIe SSD - Form Factor: 15.6" - Product Name: 81CU - Board: LNVNB161216 - BIOS: LENOVO 7KCN25WW(V1.06) dated 06/19/2018 It looks like Starlabs has used coreboot with i7-8550U. Has anyone successfully ported over for 730 or 710 specifically? Anyone interested in potentially helping? I collected some info using Claude. Tl;dr still have to wrangle with EC, GPIO, I2C, ACPI, even if we extract from vendor BIOS even if we use Starlabs i-7 in repo.
