Looks like Arthur has already implemented some changes to use PARALLEL_MP on i440bx. As of writing, the patches assume there's only one CPU (I already pointed out this is incorrect for boards with two CPU sockets/slots). I'd greatly appreciate if Keith and/or you could test them on actual hardware.
