I think proper init for the cpu right after disable_car() would greatly speed up the boot process. Carl-Daniel, would there be any problem with calling functions to enable mtrrs and the cache (if it's not already) from the end of disable_car()? If not permanently, at least for the time being, to find out if it would help and to reduce the current 20 minute test cycle? Thanks, Corey
