I have a Linux machine where I do not run namenode or tasktracker but
I have hadoop installed. I use this machine to submit jobs to the
cluster. I see that the moment I put /etc/hosts entry for my-namenode,
I get the following error:

Since, I can not put the /etc/hosts mapping, I am unable to use the
Jetty pages of namenode and jobtracker as they often point to URLs
with domain names instead of IP addresses. Please help me in resolving
this issue.
