Hi, I'm trying to use output compression but seems it doesn't work for me. I'm using hadoop 0.18.3 and i've set both mapred.output.compress and mapred.compress.map.output to ture and mapred.output.compression.type to BLOCK. I also read the doc about native libraries but i can't find anything about the loading of the libraries in any log files. Does anyone know what's wrong here ?
