The University of Cambridge Museums (UCM) is pleased to invite you to a one-day symposium on 'The Science of Art', a celebration of conservation and scientific research across the UCM.
The symposium will take place on Friday, 7th December 2018 at the Scott Polar Research Institute in Cambridge (UK). It will include a range of talks showcasing current research projects, a panel discussion and a visit to the 'Polar Encounters' exhibition, introduced by curator Charlotte Connelly. The symposium also intends to foster collaborations between attending conservators, scientists and other Museum professionals involved in collections-based research.
