Westminster Abbey are seeking to recruit a Painting Conservator (Maternity Cover) to advise the Head Conservator on all aspects of the conservation and care of the painted surface at the Abbey. To undertake remedial and preventive treatments on those surfaces and to supervise conservation projects or contractors in these specialisms as directed by the Head Conservator. To collaborate with the Head Conservator on establishing and maintaining appropriate conservation standards for the care of the collection at Westminster Abbey.
