On Friday, September 22nd, 2017 the Heritage Science for Conservation group at Johns Hopkins University will be hosting a one day workshop, Adhesives in Conservation: Bridging the Gap Between Industry and Conservators. The workshop, focused on the development of a user-driven adhesives database, will consist of a panel discussion, break-out sessions, a general session of talks from industry representatives, conservators, and conservation scientists, a summary talk and a concluding discussion session.
Registration is now open for the workshop. Registration can be done online and includes a short, 10 question preliminary survey on the subject of adhesives. The link to the registration and survey can be found below. Registration is free of charge and the first ten registrants will have their parking costs covered, if needed. The survey can be completed without registering for the event, and responses will help guide our discussion at the workshop, so please consider filling it out even if you are unable to attend in person. Following registration you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
