Subject: Wet Cleaning Rugs and Carpets in Collections

I would like to make contact with anyone who has in the last few years, or is
planning to, wet clean rugs or carpets in their Collection. I am interested in
any methods that differ from straightforward immersion, and any special
equipment used to aid the process - however basic. I would also be interested
to know if commercial facilities have been, or are being, employed.

I have been awarded a Fellowship to investigate methods of wet cleaning rugs
and carpets in Collections and am seeking as much information as I can gather
on current practice.

All information gratefully received.
