You can attempt it, it's not going to hurt anything, but maybe try Firefox, IE, any other browser, to see if the issue reproduces itself. If it does, try visiting that website on Safari (or Firefox, IE) with the SAME newest version of Java on a DIFFERENT computer. It's likely a compatibility or rather, incompatibility issue. e.g. Safari with Java on Vista machine
