When you have a fairly strong (commercial) go bot you can let it play games against itself. For instance, with my "Many Faces of Go 12" it takes less than 20 seconds to get a 9x9 game with 3,000 playouts per move. Doing this in randomized play mode gives you about 200 9x9 games per hour.
