But I'm thinking about this case.

Hello Hiroshi,
your example is very interesting! In fact it seems that White needs one more
liberty here. Otherwise Black can win the semeai, or let white start the ko so
that Black takes first and then white has no threats.

5 liberties, W is lost:
(;FF[4]CA[UTF-8]AP[GoGui:1.4.0]SZ[9]
AB[be][bd][df][de][dd][dc][db][da][ef][fh][ff][fc][fb][fa][gh][gf][gc][hf][hc][hb][if][ic]
AW[ag][af][bg][bf][cg][di][dh][dg][ei][eh][ed][ec][eb][ea][fd][gd][ga][hd][ha][id][ia]
PL[W];W[bh];B[ie];W[ib];B[gb];W[ha];B[fe])

6 liberties, W has time to eliminate the ko threat and win:
(;FF[4]CA[UTF-8]AP[GoGui:1.4.0]SZ[9]
KM[7]DT[2013-12-10]RU[Chinese]
AB[be][bd][df][de][dd][dc][db][ef][fh][ff][fc][fb][fa][gh][gf][gc][hf][hc][hb][if][ic][ca][cb]
AW[ag][af][bg][bf][cg][di][dh][dg][ei][eh][ed][ec][eb][ea][fd][gd][ga][hd][ha][id][ia]
PL[W])

Actually, Fuego did better than I expected on these cases. It took a few
hundred thousand simulations, but eventually it found the right moves (if not
the right eval…) Fuego does not have enough knowledge to think it might be seki
:)
