Hi,

This news is not Computer Go, but Computer Shogi(Japanese Chess).

Yesterday, Shogi program beated professional player in Tokyo, Japan. This
is a first computer win against active human pro Shogi player in history.

Shogi professinal, Sato Shinichi 4 dan lost to computer Shogi program
"ponanza" which went to 4th in 2012 Computer Shogi Championship,
programmed by Yamamoto Issei. Each player has 4 hours and 60 sec Byo-yomi.
ponanza runs on 10 machines, and searchs 30 million positions/sec.
