In that case I think when reading your paper the biggest question I'd
have is why you didn't simply play A1 and A2 against each other, to
judge their relative strength. Or a three-way tournament between A1, A2
and B, which would allow you to assign ELO ratings. (You may have a good
reason, just make sure it is well explained in your paper.)
