We are happy to announce TCGA 2012 computer game tournament. This tournament focuses on fast games only. For 19x19 games, the time setting is bio-yomi 15 seconds for 4 periods. For 13x13 games, the time setting is bio-yomi 12 seconds for 3 periods. For 9x9 games, the time setting is bio-yomi 9 seconds for 2 periods. Komi 7 points is set for 9x9 games and Komi 7.5 points is set for 13x13 and 19x19 games. The 9x9 and 13x13 tournament will start at June 30th. 6:00 UTC and finish before 16:00 UTC, and 19x19 tournament will start at June 30th. 16:00 UTC and finish before July 1st 11:00 UTC. The tournament will be held on “Computer Go” on KGS with “tournament” mode. The tournament system is double round-robin for 9x9 games and round-robin for 13x13 and 19x19 games. The winning bot gets 2 points and each bot gets 1 point if the result is draw. Depending on the numbers of participating teams, we will announce playing round schedules at June 29th 22:00 UTC on the website(http://tcga.ndhu.edu.tw/tcga2012/eng/p_6.htm).
