Reminder: it's tomorrow.

The field is already strong. We have a 5d, a 4d, a 3d, a 2d, a 1d, a 1k, and an unrated player which would be at least 2d if rated. And these ratings are all for 19x19: they will be much stronger than this at 9x9.

I am hoping that there will be at least one more entrant, to make the numbers even.

The June KGS bot tournament will be held on Sunday June 3rd, starting at
08:00 UTC and finishing at 16:00.

It will be a 24-round Swiss with 9x9 boards and 9 minutes each plus
fast Canadian overtime. It will use Chinese rules with 7 points komi.
There are details at http://www.gokgs.com/tournInfo.jsp?id=707 .

Note that this non-standard komi allows jigo as a possible result. If
your bot does not understand this, it will be likely to draw games that
it could have won, or to lose games that it could have drawn.

The winner of this tournament will win an opportunity to play a
demonstration 9x9 game against a strong player at the European Go
Congress this summer: http://www.egc2012.eu/node/82

Please send your registration email, with the words "KGS Tournament
Registration" in the title, to me at maproom at gmail dot com
