Around 1980, I actually met a psychologist who played Go at a Cleveland 
tournament. However, I do not recall his name. It rather piqued my interest, 
since most American go players in those days seemed to be technology types - 
computer programmers, engineers, and so forth. 

You might wish to ask the folks at the AGA.
