Oh, I did not say that it would not be beneficial, to AlphaGo, and to the people playing it, and to the Go community as a whole, but still, it will have to come from somewhere. Just the electricity bill alone would be hair-raising. And the big-scale benefits in prestige and marketing are over, with this victory.
It would be cool to build on the works of AlphaGo, and I would like to see it as much as the next enthusiast, but I doubt the feasibility...
