Note though that KGS does not define Chinese, AGA, or New Zealand Rules but KGS uses KGS-Japanese, KGS-Chinese, and KGS-AGA Rules. KGS-New Zealand Rules might agree to New Zealand Rules but the description of these on the webpage is misleading.
As a consequence, when you let programs (or humans in tournaments) play on KGS, you should first agree on the rules interpretation and on how to handle KGS scoring mistakes in this context.
