Sorry if I caused confusion, I didn't mean to count those as Chess- players. I just stated that to show that despite large population- numbers in say China, most of those people play Xiang-Qi rather than Wei-Qi.
This in contrast to a large country like Russia where I believe Chess is by far the most popular. In Holland however, Chess comes only at third place (or maybe even lower) after Bridge and Draughts.
