The page http://www.gokgs.com/tournInfo.jsp?id=324 allows me to
specify
my time zone as "Pacific Standard Time (Los Angeles)", and then says

find
it odd, and confusing, that the default timezone for that page is
GMT,
but when I tell it to use GMT, it uses BST instead.)
Just to be clear, that's 1am California time.
Well, I knew it was California Daylight-Saving time. I've now checked,
and I see that Californis doesn't shift back to straight Pacific
Standard Time until November 4th. So, this tournament starts at 01:00
in California.
